FAQ

Is Signex safe to use?

Signex is designed as a non-custodial and trustless platform. Users keep full control of their wallets and assets at all times. Trades execute using smart contracts that perform atomic swaps, meaning either both sides complete successfully or the entire transaction fails. Users should still verify trade details and counterparties before executing trades.

Do I need to create an account or register?

No. Signex does not require account registration. Users simply connect a Web3 wallet to access the platform. The connected wallet acts as the user’s identity.

Does Signex hold or store my funds?

No. Signex never holds user funds. Assets remain inside user wallets until a trade is executed. When a trade executes, the smart contract transfers assets directly between the two participating wallets in a single atomic transaction.

Which assets can be traded on Signex?

Signex supports peer-to-peer swaps of:

  • ERC-20 tokens

  • NFTs (ERC-721 and supported standards)

Supported assets may vary depending on network compatibility and token standards.

Which networks does Signex support?

Signex currently focuses on EVM-compatible networks, including Base. Additional network support may be added in future updates.

Can I cancel a trade after creating it?

Yes. Trades can be cancelled before execution. Once cancelled, the trade cannot be executed by the counterparty.

What happens if a trade expires?

If a trade reaches its expiration time before execution, it automatically becomes invalid and cannot be executed. Users must create a new trade if they still want to proceed.

Are there trading fees?

Signex may apply protocol fees depending on the platform version and configuration. Any applicable fees are displayed before trade execution. Network gas fees are always required and are paid directly to the blockchain network.

Can trades be reversed?

No. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Users should carefully review trade details before signing or executing trades.
